can you help??
Ubuntu 8.04 was installed on an inspiron 2500 with an Intel 815EM video adapter driver. Ubuntu does not correctly identify the graphics card and uses a generic graphic card instead. The resolution options are only 640 x 480 or 800 x 600. How can I get the correct driver for this card. other than the intel site, as these do not seem to work can anyone help the laptop had 1024x768 on windows before i installed this? i have routed through posts without success any help will be appreciated, to get my 1024*768 back! Many thanks one and all :)
