I recently replaced Gnome with KDE on my laptop, didn't like it, then switched back to Gnome. When KDE was installed I noticed the network manager was different and it wasn't working. Firstly, I found the 'Unlock' option is needed to do anything, and when I have unlocked it I cannot select the type of key (private key, shared key etc). Now that I've gone back to Gnome the network manager hasn't changed back. How can I get my old network manager back?
