Under the name OpenLogos GlobalWare AG is offering to private individuals, universities and other public institutions a free translation system for Linux. The software can be downloaded from the website of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).

I tried the website and the download link is down. Maybe it will be back up or this software is available some where else.

I think this one is a different openlogos than the one mentioned by the OP. This link takes me to a software that says:
OpenLogos is an utility to help qualitative analyses of textual material, based on a database manager with facilities for tagging and retrieve text snippets with code, and tabulating snippets and words across multiple documents.
The one mentioned by the OP is here http://sourceforge.net/projects/openlogos-mt/ and the description says:
The open-source version of the commercial Logos machine translation system in production use for over thirty years, OpenLogos was ported to Linux and PostgreSQL by the researchers at DFKI.

It says only German and English as source languages.
Isn't it easier to use the Google Translate toolbar?
