I have two full time PHP developer positions I am looking to recruit. Will this be applicable within the market? My business is 75% of the way to moving across to Ubuntu and as such the roles require a good deal of knowledge around Linux/Ubuntu

Is the market the right place to advertise and what details do I need to provide?

Regards

You can post it here. (I am a mod though)

I would think you should provide the job description, requirements and a way to contact you. Don't put things too personal on the forum.

Don't put your email in a thread/post to avoid being spammed. Instead tell people to send you a private message or an email from one you post in your user CP.

I support what the staff have advised.

It would be interesting to hear what level of response is recieved. I have thought for a while now that a vacancy section may be of value

I think a job section would be useful, i work in IT security among other areas and a section where people area looking for Linux skills would be useful.

companies do not realise they are using Linux, first thing i did at work was remove windows and install Linux

For being the first to respond, I want protection money. You see, someone will have to look after your account to make sure nothing "bad" happens. Give me a cut, and I will make sure nothing does...
