Thanking appropriately

Hello,

When you post a simple question and it gets answered quickly and correctly by a few people, is it appropriate to thank each person? Is it rude to thank just one? Is thanking really just for more complicated questions? Does it matter at all?

You could choose just not to thank them, or thank the ones that specifically helped, not just the post that solved it.

It really doesn't matter much -- not something to overthink. If you just want to post a message that says "thanks everyone," that's a perfectly good way of expressing gratitude for assistance.
