What's happened to my messages in this forum?

I initiated a new thread, but got no replies to my questions in it. Now I cannot even find the thread that I initiated. I've got problems with Evolution as can't seem to receive mail although I may send it; don't think that Firefox is working as it should, although I seem able to get on the Net, but circuitously. I need some help; I'm running an old Dell desktop with 3 GB RAM and several hard drives just re-formatted (wiped out everything I had on XP, something certainly not planned, but hope I can live with it! Any help will be appreciated....

search for your name and it should come up.
