This is not meant to become a Microsoft bashing thread.
That said, the inclusion of Mono in GNOME and hence, lots of distributions has kicked up quite a lot of controversy about whether it's a really safe, from a legal standpoint to include/use.
Now as for Mono itself, aside from patents, what I've seen of it, I really do like, some very good applications are written in it and it really takes a lot of the arduous and bothersome tasks out of programming, and speeds of software development a lot, speaking from a strictly technological point of view, it's many times better than JAVA, as programs written in C# are almost indistinguishable from native applications in performance and resource usage.
So I figured a poll, just your opinion and a short bit to say why.
