When ever I click on avant window manager it will never load.

well its been a problem for a while now, and Im sure ive restarted the computer several times since then.

Strange, if you run it, is there a process in your system monitor for it?

well would that involve watching the top (term) window and seeing if it runs? unless theres somekind of error log or something for it..

Open a terminal and type the following:


avant-window-navigator

If you're lucky, AWN will print out information on why it is not working. The most frequent is often a segfault.
