Okay, I just down-graded back to 7.10 from 8.04 yesterday because of too many bugs for our family computer, and now, I'm having problems with Gutsy where I had none before. Somebody please help. I'm trying to get all of my pictures and music and everything set up, and I get various error messages (the most recent of which says "Error "Too many open files while copying "/media/cdr...indow.mp3". Would you like to continue? And it gives me the option of canceling or retrying. But at that point the only thing that I can do to get things going again is to reboot.) I found something in the forums for problems with the file manager freezing, and followed that, and the problem stopped for an hour or two, and now it's back to doing it every 5 minutes or so. This is so frustrating and if my wife had to deal with something like this, she would just go back to windows, something that I prefer avoided. Thanks in advance for any help.
