Cairo-clock won't stay on desktop

I just got Cairo-clock, and I love it. But, whenever I press the show desktop icon, Cairo disappears. Can I make it permanent?

If you don't have it already, install ccsm sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

Then run ccsm and go to General Options

There you disable Hide Skip Taskbar Windows
