Hi,

i want to make pidgin and skype start automatically when the computer boots up. How do i do this?

go to

"system -> preferences -> sessions"

there are three things you have to enter, only the second one really matters.

For skype the second one should be


skype

for pidgin


pidgin

That should do it.

if you're more of a command line person... init.rc holds your start-up scripts.
