I have been trying to get Baldur's Gate 2 working with cedega. It installs and works untill you try to start a game. When you do that it locks up. I have tryed it on 4 different computers now and it did the same thing all of them. I have used different versions of cedega and they all worked the same.

Most recently I ran it from comand line and when it locks up it repeats this
DDBLTFX_MIRRORLEFTRIGHT DDBLTFX_MIRRORUPDOWN

Here is a screen shot of where it happens.

I had problems with Starcraft and Sudden Strike 2 but when I turned off acclerated intreprocess communication (SHM Server) they both ran fine. To turn it off open cedega go to the game right click on the game then select edit profile then uncheck the selection. Ihope this works for you.

I installed BG2. I used minimal install. I did not install any patches or the throne of Bhaal. My BG2 worked fine. I am using Ubuntu 5.10 I did change my kernel to the K7 for AMD though. below I have some screen shots of my hardware profile. the Cedega settings I have used. and the settings for the game. I hope this helps.
