I cannot add icons to program launchers in Avant Window Navigator

8.04, avn installed fine, everything runs with no errors in the terminal.

But when I browse to icons for program launchers, I cannot add icons.

Any ideas?

try using .svg images
or add newer awn 3rd party repository

.svg's cannot be added either. It's like I don't have permission to link the files...

go under applets and add "simple launcher" and activate it.

then right click on the red dot that appears in the awn dock and add your name, command, description, choose an icon. If you dont see a smiple launcher, that means you may be using a different version. make sure to remove launcher/taskmanager because it is so annoying.
