I'm just switching over from Windows XP, and I'm trying to learn the basics of Ubuntu. With my brother's help I've learned a bit and have managed to get Compiz installed following guides on this forum, the one guide I can't find is how to use all the animations and other features, can anyone help me with a guide that will show me how to use all of it? Also, I need help with adding a skydome and changing the images on the top and bottom of the cube.
Thanks in advanced,
xSky

If you are using 7.10 or above, there is no need to install Compiz, as it is available by default from System > Preferences > Appearance; Visual Effects.
If you would like to configure custom animations, install the package ccsm. (See the forum FAQ for information.) You can access it from System > Preferences > Advanced Desktop Effects Settings.
