Hey This may sound a little weird so bare with me.

I have an Nvidia 5500FX with an S-Video out put.

I also have a Wide screen 30" LG HDTV that I can manually change the aspect ratio.

I can already connect the PC to the TV and get a 4:3 picture.

Is there a way to Distort the s-video output to achieve a 16:9 output that is really -->compressed<-- 4:3 out but when I select the 16:9 aspect ratio on my tv Every thing would look normal (and fills the entire screen which is the goal of this) but if i select the 4:3 ratio the image looks compressed from both sides...

Thanks in advance.
Please let me know if any further clarification is needed.

Try using VLC and set the aspect ratio in Video as 4:3
