My desktop is broken? It wants to remove my desktop?

Trying using Fix Broken Packages from the menu in Synaptic.

Try to relate your problem with this thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=364289), it talks about an application trying to remove the Ubuntu-desktop metapackage.
