audio stops working after revoked from suspend mode

Hi,

im using a dell vostro 1400 running ubuntu with 2.6.22-14-generic. Audio works fine but after suspending and revoking back , audio does not work.

This is the information regarding the audio on my system --

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 02)


Is this a known problem ? Any pointers to fix this will be really helpful.

I'm also using Dell Vostro 1400. My sound has stopped working right after I updated to ubuntu 8.0.4 from 7.**.

I'm quite new in this. Have only been using it for abt 6 months.

Hope someone can enlighten us on this.
