not sure if this is the right section but it is concerning PFSense(Firewall). feel free to transfer this thread to the Installation forums.

1) Can PFSense run on Linux? I found a PFSense for linux from Linux PFSense. (http://www.linux.softpedia.com) (Issue is I want the original FreeBSD PFSense to be installed if ever possible)

2) I read lots of threads saying they got PFSense

3) Can someone post a "useful link" to PFSense installation or a HowTo

PFSense is basically FreeBSD preconfigured to be a firewall/router with a web interface. It isn't a piece of software you add to an existing software, it is an operating system itself. If there is a linux version, it would be a completely different product using iptables instead of OpenBSD's packet filter. If I remember correctly, the installation was pretty straightforward, but if you need a tutorial, you can check their website.

By the way, the link you posted doesn't seem to work.

so that must mean i will get another box to run PFSense then?
