I have a PC I plan on installing Ubuntu on that has 2 hard drives. Currently the OS is XP. I plan on wiping XP out completely on the main hard drive. I just want to make sure none of the information on the other hard drive will be affected.
Can anyone tell me if installing Ubuntu on one hard drive would adversely affect the other hard drive?

Not unless you get mixed with the devices/partitions during the install and tell it to - it won't go deleting partitions all by itself. Just make sure you understand fully what is on what partition, on which drive before you start the installation.

Thanks,
This is my first Ubuntu install and first experience with Linux. Logically I didn't think anything on the other hard drive would be affected, but I wanted to be sure.
