Does anyone know any decent RPG's for linux? Looking for something in the vein of Suikoden or maybe FF. Cant seem to find much info so far and i like to have opinions before playing RPG's as you can spend a while on them! Plus wasnt happy when after completely erasing windows I found out that WINE cant run the PC version of FFVII as well... my one and only complaint!
Also MMORPG's. I have been playing The Mana World and finding that OK but its still quite green (no spellcasting, limited quests and no job classes yet but its getting there and I do recommend it!) and wanted to know if there were any others that were a bit more refined for me to be sinking my teeth into... free of course!
Any help appreciated. Cheers!

There is the Sacred Gold beta if you pre-order the game:

Missed the "Free" part out there. Not really looking on spending cash on Linux games as I have both a PS3 and Wii to keep me occupied (and skint). Just wanting something else to pass the time and always preferred RPG's and MMORPG's on PC nowadays which is strange as it used to be that id prefer them on consoles and would only play FPS on PC but thats sidetracking!
Thanks for the thought anyway. May keep that in mind for sometime in the future (and definitely if it goes down from $50 too!)

Runescape! Brillant MMORPG, with a lot of depth. Many different skills you can learn, not just combat.

Yes, I know, its full of under 12s looking for boyfriends & girlfriends. I just ignore them and enjoy the company of serious players.

Eternal Lands (http://www.eternal-lands.com/)

I haven't played much of it, but it is a graphical step up from rune scape.

Much smaller community though.

IIRC 6 races, 10 skills. I'd play it myself if I could trust myself around an MMO. :( Wastes far too much time.

Tried eternal lands awhile back and, to be frank, I'm impressed by what it's accomplished.

This game has the feel of an MMORPG, with great action etc. I Really Suggest it:

Good Graphics, Gameplay, Support for Voice Chat , Etc. And a Great deal of people play it since it is available for Windows/Mac/Linux

Oh and did I mention It's Free?

I recommend Runescape. It's easy to learn and it has many skills to work on (not just combat). This is a browser based game, so it doesn't matter if you use windows or Linux, all you need is Java installed.

// I recommend playing it in Chromium!
