Thank zenwhen sometime.I will...but, when I think of "DVD backup software", I'm thinking "backing up my data to DVD+R/W"...any tips on that?

the K3B in universe with the sudo command.

(be careful as it might mess up your ICEauthority)

you could try this:
create a folder named backup.
put in that folder evrything you need to backup
make an iso out of it.
use nautilus or cd-record to burn it
hope this help.

It's the same process as burning a data CD.
