Hey y'all. I am going to go ahead and say that the only networking knowledge I have is the difference in crossover and straight-through cable.
I have a laptop with the latest(as of two weeks ago) version of Ubuntu Desktop. I have a desktop that has Windows XP. I have a dialup internet connect because I live out in the country. Now, my desktop is connected to the internet. My laptop is connected to my desktop via crossover cable. I know that it is possible to have my laptop "share" the dialup connection of my desktop. How to do this, is not what I know.
I will appreciate any help.
