I have Kubuntu 7.10 installed. On boot I cant see the loading screen before the login screen. My monitor displays a message like "Cannot display this resolution. Switch Resolution to 1024x768@60Hz". My monitor is a Philips 150S4 and the settings are just those. If i switch it off and then on again, problem is fixed and i see my login screen.
Then i try to connect to the internet using UbuDSL and it either crashes or displays a message saying "Sorry, no Modem". All this didnt happen a couple days ago, and i havent messed with this stuff a bit.
What's wrong?
