None, I have given up! I have concluded that you need to buy a laptop which is officially supported under Linux by the manufacturer. With Dell and the various netbooks this is now a reality.

Not true, I had a few issues getting 8.04 wireless networking to work reliably but after asking a few questions, it's solid as a rock for me. (Compaq Presario F767NR laptop), just ask and I'm sure someone will be able to help you out. It's a great community here. Welcome and please don't be afraid to ask

Thanks. It worked in Gutsy and stopped working after dist-upgrade to Hardy. So I will avoid dist-upgrade and do a complete re-install when Intrepid Ibex is released.
