Ktorrent is now dead

As of last night ktorrent refuses to load, it crashes every time. I'm assuming this is related to the KDE issues being discussed in here, anyone have any insight on this?

The new ktorrent for hardy heron it's a really stupid version for KDE, and crashes every time, if do you want to get a ktorrent who just works, go to synaptic, and than search for ktorrent, it will appear 2 results, remove the ktorrent for kde and install the ktorrent for ubuntu (who have a ubuntu icon).
ktorrent works fine right now, it's the outdated version but ... works

same prob here ... done that and still ktorrents runs like he have memory or processor problems , it used to work fine some time ago
any other ideas ?
