Planeshift Install Help

I downloaded the linux binary for planeshift (PlaneShift-v0.4.00-x86.bin) . How do I install the game?

I can get to the setup, but I dont know what directory to install it into (it says "The directory /opt is not writable by the current user). Also, I want all users to be able to use it. Thanks for any help!

I just put it in my home directory, but if you want all users to be able to use it, you may want to put it in /usr/bin/

If thats the case, you will probably need to use sudo to install it there.

what would I do to install it in sudo? Thanks. (I'm kinda new to ubuntu)

There's no need to install the game into the "system" other than if your machine runs multiply accounts which all needs to play Planeshift.
