It’s Beta Test Time! Our newly announced title, Sacred, is going into beta soon, and we would like to invite all Linux RPG gamers to apply for the beta test! Only a few will be chosen, but if you don’t make it, as always, we are accepting proof of pre-order to get into the beta. Apply at our Betas website, and good luck!

$50 is pretty expensive for a game that is 2 years old. The Gold windows version only goes for $10-$20 and was given away with a lot of video cards.
Sacred was released in 2004. The expansion Underworld was released in 2005. The pack (Gof them combined was released in 2006.
Linux/Ubuntu is sorely lacking in Diablo clones so it is very welcome but I hope the price will drop.

The price won't drop. It is a new game for Linux. LGP had to pay to get access to the code & add to the fact that they won't see as much money as a Windows version as the number of Linux users are siginificantly lower who purchase games. They also have to pay people to port the game. $50 for a new game to Linux isn't that bad.
