[SCP] how to increase the speed?

I noticed that SFTP on either inet or internet is typically 3 times slower than FTP, is there a tweak that could give it a higher down/up speed??

Hmm... SFTP is FTP in an encrypted session, so FTP plus encryption (ie: a lot of overhead). You should expect it to be slower (but way more secure), that's by design.
