How does one get support for Ubuntu?

I've tried posting here but got no replies on two problems.

On the IRC helpline somebody was more interested in talking about my handle than helping.

I've tried searching the forums and internet.

So how do I get support?

Guaranteed support? http://www.ubuntu.com/support/paid

I know nobody will actually bother replying with a sensible answer, any more that I got when I asked (politely) about a (still-unresolved) printing problem.

It just seems to me that Linux / Ubuntu is full of bugs, is unreliable and is generally frustrating.

So I plan to recover my files, and bin Ubuntu. It's just been too much trouble.

So long.
If it doesn't suit you, then well, that's life. Take care.

I would strongly advise you to repost your problems on the forum and be as descriptive as possible. If you still don't receive any support it may be a bug and you need to file a bug report. I've noticed that many individuals on the forum are more technically advanced than others and your problems (have no idea what they are) may require a member with an advanced skill set. Remember, this forum is a community of individuals with varying levels of experience and competence with respect to Ubuntu. The forum is designed as an interactive forum to share information. Most individuals can only share what they know. Often times it comes down to who is on the forum when you request assistance or who is monitoring post with zero responses - logic might suggest you re-post.

Don't give up simply re-post ask, hopefully someone with the skill set you need will respond. If not I'd suggest searching Google for a technical support specialist located in your region. I searched Google and found 10 in my region....

Good Luck

Simplify the thread titles and make them sound interesting

It helps to be descriptive and courteous when asking for support in these forums. I'm not suggesting that you're being rude, but it is nice to help people who are nice to you.

if not then you might need the professional help
