This ubuntu box has replaced a windows box. The windows box worked perfectly and chugged along just fine. But it is now gone. This ubuntu boxmust function as a wirelessly networked print server. The WAP is in another room, and there is no cabling between rooms. I'm using a linksys card that is functioning properly; except...
After every restart I must goto system -> administration -> network and then unlock with sudo password. I can then select wireless connection and properties. I must enter my WAP password, every time. Restarting seems to replace this password with a long string of characters. After changing this logon password the wireless functions properly again until the next restart. But, this is just not acceptable.
Thanks
