Hii,
I have just installed my new Office 2007 Ultimate (for 3 users) but I am planning to restore my PC due to some problems. What happens when I try to reinstall Office 2007 Ultimate after restoring my PC? Will this be considered as use of 2nd license of Ultimate or software would recognize my PC's IP address and consider the reinstall as my first license?
Cheers

Eh microsofts policies on this sort of thing are shadowy, I am more then sure they have some confounded limitation on it...

Don't worry about it - if the worst comes to the worst - "your drive failed".
That said, I've reinstalled Vista & Office 07 Ultimate (both legit thanks) on my laptop and MS haven't said it was invalid or anything yet :)

well that doesn't quite answer my question, I want to know if it will be considered the first user lisence or 2nd. I forgot to mention that i have already intalled ms office on my PC and my broher's Laptop and my dad is gonna buy a new laptop but if it is counted as a third lisence after formtting my PC i wouldn't be able to use it on my dad's laptop.
plz plz help me
-Thank You

Your licensed to use it on three pc's is that what your saying?
If so and your reinstalling it on the same pc then your using the same license again.

Microsoft has an 800 number you call. You can reset your license's. I've done it many a time with all the re-installs of Windblows.

I've never had to call MS about resetting a license - I must've reinstalled the same copy of XP across my PC's at least 5 times in a year - they never said a word.
I should note it was only on 1 of the PC's at any given time
