I've played over and over again, and never even got close! Do I just suck?

Do I just suck?

Maybe :P... Just try Settings>Preferences and select the level, you might have it on level three, the hardest. Try level one.

NOTE: Try Setting both players to a level... the computer will play itself.

There's a thread somewhere in the Cafe/OPP about this :)

I read this thesis by a guy about winning in Tic-Tac-Toe and in four in a row.

Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connect_Four (links at the bottom)

The games are all being solved (in order of perceived difficulty):

1. tic-tac-toe - solved
2. Connect 4 - solved
3. Othello - solved
4. Checkers - solved
5. Chess - unsolved - still my favourite...anyone want a game I'm on FICS (abhiroopb) - unfortunately my rating is very low as I usually play this to pass the time rather than seriously.
