By running in -dxlevel 81 I managed to get it run kinda slow but after 5-10 minutes of in game play, it will randomly freeze up and lock my computer. I can't close the program (or maybe I just don't know how) and the sound would loop. My only solution is to have push the power button then it will hum for a couple of seconds, cut the looping sound, blank the screen, then turn off so I'm guessing some process on my computer is still running.
I know that CrossOver supports Team Fortress 2 so that means wine should run it okay?

Currently using Kubuntu 8.04, Wine 1.0-rc3.

but that's how to properly install and get orange box running. (if you look in the demo video he has it running at 40-60fps solid)
