The Ubuntu Documentation Team is pleased to announce the release of the new Ubuntu Starter Guide. This guide was developed from the unofficial Ubuntu Guide and is intended to provide authoritative guidance on most commonly asked questions and tasks for Ubuntu users.

The guide can be found in your Ubuntu operating system, by clicking System -> Help and then "Ubuntu Starter Guide".

Alternatively, find the guide on the internet here (multiple pages) (http://help.ubuntu.com/starterguide/C/index.html) or here (single page) (http://help.ubuntu.com/starterguide/C/faqguide-all.html). Translations of the guide will be made available shortly from the new documentation website help.ubuntu.com (http://help.ubuntu.com).

For more information about the Ubuntu Documentation Project, including how to contribute and contact us, please visit the new Documentation Team website at doc.ubuntu.com (http://doc.ubuntu.com)

Thanks!

Matt

I am the first to say THANK YOU! :p
Yet another great source for starters, nice design.
Edit

But after some thinking... why the effort, isn't ubuntuguide.org enough?
