Mouse problem on rise of nations

Hello i just finished installing rise of nations
but when i want to play it why i can't click the menu button?

A workaround is to keep the right mouse-button pressed while left-clicking.

BTW, I'm curious: do you have any sound while playing RON?

theres no sound at all

I have gotten the sound to work but recently it has stopped. Is there a sound fix? I can not remember what exactly I did.
