Help!
So I finished upgrading to 8.04 last night on my macbook (santa rosa)
I reboot and when I log in the "orange" human theme color fills the screen and nothing happens, I can't log in.
I can log in as GNOME, Recovery, and all the other options but I can't log in as simple user... wtf?

Macbook core 2 duo, 2GB RAM, Dual Boot Leo&Ubuntu, Intel

I'd prefer if I could fix this rather than re-install, I have a backup form 7.10 so I could kill a fly with a shotgun by reinstalling 7.10, but I want to have 8.04 with all my settings and files intact, hope it's not much to ask for.

i have to be honest, i think you should have just stuck with os x. but any way, try logging in as the root default.

Upgrades often do not go well. Especially with customized configs.
