Hi All,
I am using Ubuntu 7.0 with LTS. The client boots through PXE and i am able to login without any problems. I am running a proxy server in my network to block certain downloads and access to few sites and this is a requirement.
The proxy server and modem is connected to the same machine as the LTS server. So,when the client logs into the server the user is able to use internet and browser everything without any restriction as the modem is connected to this machine.
If i enter the proxy server IP (Which is the local server IP) in the browser, the restrictions are applied. But, this is not giving me the complete security. In the sense that, the user gets full access to the internet if he doesn't enter the proxy server IP.
How do i configure LTS clients to use the proxy?
Thanks
Avinash
