Hi,
I'm new to linux. I just installed ubuntu 8.04 on my 15' penryn Macbookpro (triple boot w/ vista, rEFIt was removed after installation).
After a few configurations listed in "https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MacBookPro", everything (sound, 3D effect, wireless...) seems to be working, except that there's no way to change the LCD backlight or keyboard backlight. Ambion light sensor is not working. LCD backlight stays at the highest level and the keyboard light remains off. Gnome power manager does not talk to the backlight. Pommed does work for the sound control but not backlight...
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?
