hey im running ubuntu 8.04 and im running windows xp in virtualbox. is there anyway to make more virtual memory, because i want to install some applications, but i can't because there is not enough memory

All you have to do is open the control panel of VB (it what pops up and let's you pick which machine to start) highlight the right machine, then click settings. It's right on the first tab that pops up, Base Memory Size.
