I've got esword running in Hardy upgrade, but if I change Bibles or commentaries, the text disappears and I have to minimize and re-maximize the window to see text again. Anyone else having this problem or have suggestions?

e-sword is Windows software, isn't it?

Yes it is. It's running under wine.

I have no problem until now. What is the wine version you are using? It might be related to wine, not hardy. May be you want to reinstall it using latest instruction. I have updated it to suit wine RC 1.

I pretty sure, ALMOST POSITIVE, it is wine because I have had this problems with numerous amount of windows applications. If you have compiz-fusion effects enabled this might cause problems too but I doubt that that is it. Tell me if you find your solution.

David,
I'm using wine 0.9.59

I have tried to downgrade my wine from RC 2 to 0.9.59, but could not see any problem at all. In facts, I have never faces any problem with any wine version. Could you try to re-install the e-Sword using new instruction (just updated for wine RC1)?

Please report any problem after you re-install it. Sometime I saw in other computer, wine does have problems with some registry and need to re-install.
