Hey guys. ANyone know where i can get some animated login screen for Ubuntu? the orange drumming is starting to bore me

I don't know about animated, but gnome looks have loads of login screens:

you can also change the login picture with your own wallpaper...

find one of ubuntu default login folder (such as circle, etc),
edit the configuration file (the xml, i i'm not wrong) (you must be administrator of course, just use sudo),
change the default background file name with your own wallpaper or photo name on that configuration file...

enjoy your new login screen...

You'll need to look around for the correct directories, then it should work on your Ubuntu installation. It basically just runs a screensaver in the root window of your GDM. I recommend lockward or glmatrix for a screensaver. I realize this is a bit more advanced, but maybe you'll have some luck.
