I know that firefox3 beta5 comes with ubuntu, but how many of you downgraded? I did at first, but now i'm back to firefox3. I didn't really have any problems with 3, except that it'd freeze from time to time, but it really hasn't been happening now.
If you guys have downgraded, can you tell me why? And if there's any word when a stable version is going to come out.

Thanks in advance.

I've up-graded to Firefox 3RC1 and it is running much better than the beta did.

Thanks, i just installed it. However, it uses 51mb of RAM. Do you know why firefox has such a bad memory leak, and is there a way to fix it? Or even to minimize it, even a little.

It doesn't. Without extensions, Firefox more or less no longer leaks. There are some known leakers though - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=extension&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=mlk&bug_status=UNCONFIRMED&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=exact&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailtype2=exact&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&known_name=Memory+Leakers&query_based_on=Memory+Leakers&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0=
