I recently upgraded to 8.04 and I noticed that my internet connection is much slower.
When I had 7.10, my Internet was always at 79%-80% and everything ran smoothly.
Since the moment I updated, I'm lucky to get to 70% strength. Its usually at less than 50%, which makes for a painful internet experience.
All my internet settings are the same.
If it can't be fixed, is there a way to downgrade to 7.10 without wrecking anything?

Thanks

If you can backup your /home folder, you will need to remove hardy and install gutsy.

I dont think Its because of ur upgrade to ubuntu 8.04. My broadband internet connection works more than fine with ubuntu 8.04. It is infact faster than the previous versions. Might be you are finding it slow because of the firefox 3.0 b5. Try an alternate browser like opera and then judge whether you should down grade to gutsy or not......

I think he means that his wireless lost power, reception since he upgraded. Seems like a software problem indeed.

Just for test:
Had you tried disabling the "Roaming Mode" and setting it to DHCP. Also, try to manually disable your "Wired" if it could help.
