Hi ,

I am in the process of creating a GDM theme and need some advice.
It seems my login screens are not aligning properly even though I use the correct resolution in my case 1920 x 1200 as a background.
They always seem to zoom in just a little which makes for alignment problems.

Also as you can see in the screenshot the clock ,session,language and action text is out of alighnment yet in the actual login screen they are correctly alighned ....
This is driving me nuts , please help !

I had quite a bit of trouble when I made a custom GDM too. The same issues you're having. Sorry to say I just kept on tweaking the alignment until it looked good. I remember I had a gap of about 5px on one side of the background too. I'll have a think and see if I can remember if there was any method to fixing it.

Hey that's great. Looks like you fixed your problem. How did you do it. I remembered that when I made mine I didn't realize that my image wasn't centered when I saved it so I had a strange gap. I don't think that was your problem though. So how did you fix it?

For me, the font doesn't really match the image. I'm imagining something a bit more subtle for the font and the text and logo to the left of the text box.

It just looks that way but actually I just positioned everything a bit away from the edges as my system still zooms in a little. Very weird .
I have plenty of real estate though 1920 x 1200 so not a big issue , but it still drives me nuts.
PS. I don't think this is my themes problem though as it does the same thing with other themes.
