What keyboard layout do I have?

Xubuntu 8.04

When I do

applications > settings > settings manager > keyboard
> layouts > model

it offers several models, but not what I actually have which is
a Dell Inspiron 1525

Please how should I choose which of the models on offer is closest to
the actual KB?

Does Inspiron 1525 uniquely define the KB, or are there several possible
KBs that might be inside?

I have the same issue. I'm not sure which to select. I'm pretty sure that they are mostly the same though.
