Hi,

I upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04 and I noticed that when I change the volume it displays the 7.04 veriosn. which looks like a blue box, I also noticed that when i hit browse mode the channel info also looks like the older version. When I did a fresh install on a test pc, I noticed that the volume dispay is different, as it looks black with the time showing. anybody know how to update my 2 older displays to show the 8.04 dispays. It seems like its the only 2 items effected.

Thanks

You need to change your theme and/or your OSD theme. You can do this in the frontend setup

The OSD is under
Utilities/Setup > Setup > TV Settings > Playback OSD

Since you upgraded, you might want to install some more themes. Open up mythbuntu-control-centre and you can install from the mythtv themes tab. Anything ending with OSD is the OSD theme.
