Hi all, I am having a really difficult issue here with ubuntu 8.04 LTS 32 bit.
I've been working with some of my music recording with Ardour, I use the latest version compiled from the site, not the one in the repos. My problem is when I use the LADSPA plugins and I want to export the file. It does some horrible clicking and the exported file is soundless. If I disable the LADSPA plugins in ardour on my tracks and export the file is exported fine with no clicks coming from speakers and I open the file and I hear the song, obviously not the way I want it to sound because plugins are disabled (eq, reverbs, etc).
If I play the file directly from ardour with the plugins all sounds well. It's just when I export. I think this has something to do with pulseaudio in this version of ubuntu, because I used the same version of ardour in Feisty and never had this issue. And even older projects created with ubuntu feisty, but same version of ardour, if I open them they sound good, but exporting them is just a nightmare!
Any advice welcome and thanks.
