View Full Version : [kde] Problems saving rotation setting on second screen

I've more or less successfully got the two monitor thing set up under Kubuntu (Hardy). But every time I reboot I need to click on the krandrtray applet to tell it to rotate my second screen. It's a bit annoying since I have my second screen set up rotated, and trying to click on the applet while everything's sideways is always a bit challenging. (Putting the applet on my first screen doesn't seem to let me change the rotation on the second screen, even though it "gives" me the option).

Anyway, I can't seem to be able to save the rotation setting between reboots. Under KDE 3.5.2 (running under Slackware 10.2), there used to be an option to "apply on startup" under the display settings. It seems to have disappeared in 3.5.9. I've played with both kcmrandrrc and startupconfig (in .kde/share/config ), but so far no luck.

Anyone have a bit of advice?
