Hi,

I just wanted to know if there is a howto out there, or if someone can give me one (I'd be happy to host it on my blog page for all other enthusiasts)...
I'm trying to get use of my AppleTV (Take2 revision right now) as a MythTV Frontend. The disk is backed up completely, so I can go either with a MythTV FE install on the OSX which is there (tried that, and doesn't seem to work right now), but I can go for a complete redo of the AppleTV harddisc contents, and install an Ubuntu on it.

So: The question here is: How do I install an Ubuntu on an AppleTV?
All help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

OK, no one responded...
In the meantime, I managed myself, with the help of Davilla, to do this setup on mine.

all details are in my blog, it's too much to write about here...

Have fun!

Hi, Is there a update for status of Ubuntu on an Apple TV?

If so, where would one find the best details of how to install Ubuntu on an AppleTV?

As mentioned above, I did a full install a couple of months ago, and it has been running perfectly ever since.
I had a small issue a couple of weeks ago, when I mistakenly chose the wrong video driver package to be used. I reissued the nvidia binary driver through aptitude, and it worked super!

go check: www.bramkortleven.be and let me know if I can be of any more help.
