Hi guys,
I posted this question on the openoffice.org forum site, but there doesn't appear to be too many people inhabiting there so I thought I would try here as I need some quick help.
I have recently come over to Linux from Windblows, and am due to do a public talk for my business involving the use of a powerpoint presentation. I have imported the file into OO Impress and saved it in open office file type.
However the animations are all very jerky. I have to do a fair bit of re sizing texts etc which is ok, but the animations need to be smooth. Is there a fix, or is this a drawback of Impress, that it cannot handle the advanced techniques as well as powerpoint I hope it's not the second thing.
I am using the correct drivers for my Nvidia graphics card, so not sure what else to do.
Hoping someone can tell me.
